AH18  The Blue Lagoon to Keflavik Airport All year round

Highlights:
  • The Blue Lagoon

Transfer Description:

The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa situated in the youngest lava field in west Iceland.  The Blue Lagoon offers many recreational options such as bathing in the milky blue water, enjoying an outdoor massage or spa treatment, or simply walking in the spectacular surroundings of the Lagoon.

On site there is also a fantastic restaurant with á la carte menu, a smaller cafeteria and bar, and the Blue Lagoon shop; selling skin care products based on the unique blend of Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater active ingredients: minerals, silica, and algae, as well as various Icelandic designer clothing and art.

This tour starts in Reykjavik, where we pick you up at your hotel. We then bring you to the Blue Lagoon and from there to Keflavik Airport.

We offer 3 different departures from Reykjavík at 09:00, 11:00 and 13:00. If you like, you can take advantage of our complimentary pick up service, where we will pick you up at your hotel 30 minutes prior to tour departure. Please be ready at the pick up time given above and watch out for our busses at the entrance to your hotel. The driving time to Keflavík is around 50 minutes.

Please rest assured that our staff will take care of your luggage while you enjoy your tour. Just keep the stuff you need for the visit to the Blue Lagoon with you in a seperate bag.

We offer flexible departures from the Lagoon to the airport at 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00. Driving time to the Airport is about 20 minutes. Most airlines require that you arrive at the Airport at least 2 hours before your flight departs, so please choose your departure from the Blue Lagoon with that in mind. Please tell the bus driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which departure you plan to take when leaving the Blue Lagoon.

Please note:  This is a non-guided transfer service. The entrance fee to the bathing area at the Blue Lagoon is not included in the tour price.

Although there is nothing much to this tour in that it is unguided, the pick ups all went smoothly and there is a good range of times for pick up both from your hotel and from the lagoon to the airport. My luggage was on the right bus and all in all it meant no fuss or worry for me!!

Great way to spend our last day in Iceland. Luggage was safely stored and waiting for us when we came out of the lagoon as promised. As with all of the IE tours we tried the drivers were very helpful and the buses always on time.

This tour is just providing transportation from hotels in Reykjavik to Blue Lagoon, and from Blue Lagoon to Keflavik airport. But a bus driver was kind enough to keep our big luggage in the bus while we were enjoying the Blue Lagoon, and to move it to a new bus heading to the airport. That's convenient for travelers.

Thank you for your comment and review. During this transfer the driver will always store all major luggage until passengers are ready to go to Reykjavik Hotels. This also applies for our AH18 Reykjavik hotels-Blue Lagoon to Airport transfers.

this company had the latest departure time to Keflavik (15:00). This is great if you have a late flight.

This tour is literally a bus transfer and luggage holding service, tour is probably not the correct description as you pay separately for your entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon. The bus arrived late at our hotel but was on time to pick us up at the Blue Lagoon. Unfortunately, quite a few people were late back to catch the bus to Keflavik and the driver had to call in to check what to do with their luggage etc. There probably should be a procedure in place for this eventuality. These young men finally did show up and we got to the airport in time for our flight. The Blue Lagoon is an amazing experience and well worth making time for, even on a short trip.
