AH140  Golden Circle Super Jeep Tour All year round

Highlights:
  • Þingvellir National Park
  • Gullfoss waterfall
  • Geysir hot spring area
  • Snowmobile tour on Langjökull glacier

Tour Description:

This Golden Circle Super Jeep tour allows visitors to get in touch with some of Iceland’s most famous and exciting natural phenomena.  Experience nature in a unique way in our 4x4 super-jeeps, which are specially modified to traverse difficult off-road tracks and mountain roads.

First stop is at Þingvellir National Park, which is one of Iceland’s most significant historical sites, as it was there that Iceland’s first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD. From Þingvellir we head along mountain tracks toward the world-renowned geothermal area around Geysir hot spring. We then continue on to Gullfoss waterfall where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the spray of the glacial water on your face.

Next we kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland’s nature and head up mountain roads to the interior of the country for an exciting snowmobile tour on Langjökull, Iceland’s second largest glacier. After an action-packed day we pass by the greenhouse village in Hveragerði, on our way back to Reykjavík.

The tour guide was brilliant, was worth paying the extra money for the super Jeep and snowmobile! The golden circle itself is a must see trip on its own with the most beautiful sites, however the snow mobiling was the high light of the holiday for me! Could not fault this trip at all. X

This is the best tour ever! The snow storm did disturb our schedule a bit, but made our trip more exciting along the way. Thanks a lot for our driver + tour guide, Valmar, very nice and a great super jeep driver. Super fun to ride a snowmobile in a surreal glacier scenery. Trip of a lifetime!

Wow! Great tour helped by our guide and his knowledge. Loved the sights out of the City from the views in the National Park to the waterfall of Gullfoss and the exploding Geysir. Loved the fact you had time to explore on your own and were not continually rounded up. The snowmobile was certainly an experience not to be forgotten and the views when we stopped were fantastic as though you were on your own in the middle of no where. I think the amount of photographs we took certainly emphasised how good the trip was - we would recommend it.
