Tour Description:

Panoramas IcelandIn one afternoon, this popular excursion enables travelers to visit some of Iceland’s most famous sites.

We visit Þingvellir National Park (English: Thingvellir), where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was established in the year 930 AD.

In 2004 Thingvellir National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List and is now one of eight hundred places in the world that have been honoured by UNESCO.

From there we continue to Gullfoss waterfall and the spouting hot spring area around Geysir and Strokkur. 

Although this trip is an express tour, you will be visiting some of the very best known historical sites and natural phenomena in the country.

Loved the tour, I was busy in the morning so couldnt do the full day tour, so this was perfect for me - you get to see all of the Golden Circle highlights in just half a day. Even though it was a half day tour I didnt feel rushed and was happy with the time we spent at each place. The guide was full of information and easy to chat to : ) At Gullfoss, I recommend having the lamb soup if they are serving it - delicious!

The nature itself was of course marvelous, in addition to that the guide, sorry I forgot her name, was full of knowledge about the history, geography, geology, culture and people of Iceland, so I had really informative time as well as fun. That was really a very nice afternoon tour. The locations we visited were really amazing. And the driver was an excellent guide and told us really a lot about Iceland and it's interesting facts. We really recommend this tour, but if you have more time take the Golden Circle Classic whole day tour.
