The day of your return transfer to the airport was an extraordinary day for us here in Iceland as the main road to the airport was closed by public security and transport authority due to heavy snowfall and cars blocking the way of snow ploughes. We were not informed about this closure until well under way with picking up passengers and the duration of the closure was not known. The decision was taken to wait at the petrol station at the beginning of the highway to allow passengers access to food and other services while waiting for the road to open.
The situation that day did not allow for other solutions and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused our passengers.
